Shy Royal
Data Center Security Manager (DSM)
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Shy Royal brings over 15 years of physical security experience spanning private, government, and data center environments. She currently manages physical security operations and new-build construction for AWS Data Centers in Maryland. Shy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and multiple security certifications and is actively pursuing PMP and ASIS PSP credentials. Passionate about professional growth and knowledge sharing, she continues to expand her expertise within the security field. Outside of work, Shy enjoys reading, streaming entertainment, motorcycle riding with friends, and podcasting.
Ryan Crice
Corporate Protection Manager
Global Guardian
Ryan Crice is a contractor with Global Guardian, serving as Corporate Protection Manager for a company based in Washington, DC. In his role, he coordinates security operations and logistical support between his employer and client security leadership. Ryan brings over 20 years of combined experience across military, law enforcement, contract, and corporate security sectors and is a certified security instructor in Virginia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts in International Security. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys reading Puritan literature, exploring lightly traveled historical sites with his wife, Dévora, and practicing environmentally conscious composting.
