Di is the Institute’s Project Manager, which allows her to work on specific tasks such as the CPD
system and support the Register of Chartered Security Professionals. Both of these areas have lots
of potential especially working with other organisations, as well as supporting the existing group of
Chartered Security Professionals. Prior to joining the Institute in 2005, Di had been the volunteer
Business Manager on the Board for DISA alongside her day job as a Site Security Controller and soft
services manager for a Thales UK site, later moving into quality, European project management and
client liaison roles in a UK-wide FM company.

Lisa Molineau - Administrator

Lisa joined the Institute last year and her responsibilities include providing admin support to the
Office Manager and working closely on membership finance and fees. Lisa has 30 year experience
in PA/Finance Administration, having previously worked for the same company for over 25 years.
With this longstanding experience in administrative and customer service roles, Lisa is committed
to enhancing the administrative service to our membership.

Becky O’Dell - Events Coordinator

Becky O’Dell is responsible for the organising and running of many of the SyI events including
the Gala Awards Dinner, Membership Lunches and many of the CPD events, and for all of our
merchandise and membership cards. Supporting the Membership Management Advisory Group
is also one of Becky’s responsibilities, and she also supports the set-up process of the many
Special Interest Groups that the SyI has to offer. Previous to this Becky worked for TNT Express
in the Global Customs and Security department where she assisted the team with their aims of
preventing acts of crime and terrorism to protect the employees and company assets.

Ben Harding - Marketing & PR Officer

Ben is our Marketing and PR Officer and, having joined us at the end of last year, he is eager to
help the Institute maintain and build on its continued success. He is responsible for all of our
marketing, exhibitions, public relations, the Institute Quarterly magazine, our mentoring scheme,
professional development platform and website, as well as moving forward with the new SyI
mobile app. Having graduated in 2019 with first class Honours in Media and Communications
from the University of Leicester, Ben previously worked within the Age UK Marketing department.

Victoria Smith - Membership Administrator

Victoria supports to rapidly growing areas of the Institute, supporting Di Thomas MSyI with the
Chartered Security Professionals function as well as Paula Stanbridge with Institute membership
administration. After graduating from Brunel University, Vicky has worked for over 25 years in
several sectors as an Executive Assistant, with the last 10 years working for Partners at KPMG in
Dublin.
