Managing the Register of Chartered Security Professionals

The Chartered Security Professionals Registration Authority (CPSRA) is the management committee established by the Institute to oversee the development of the Register, both now and in the future. Members of the committee are:

  • Don Randall MBE CSyP FSyI (Reresenting Worshipful Company of Security Professionals)
  • Peter French MBE FSyI (Representing Worshipful Company of Security Professionals)
  • Garry Evanson MSc CSyP FSyI (Representing Security Institute)
  • Simon Whitehouse CSyP FSyI (Representing Security Institute)
  • David Gill MSc CSyP FSyI (Licensee Representative - Security Institute)
  • Dr. Peter Speight CSyP (Licensee Representative - ASIS UK)

Advisers to the committee are:

  • Register of Security Engineers & Specialists

CSPRA meets every four months to review the management and promotion of, and admittance to, the Register. CSPRA also approve the appointment of suitable Interview Assessors, who must be CSyPs and are selected by invitation only.
