Student Membership
The Institute has created a new category of membership open to anyone studying for a recognised* security management qualification. Those organisations who currently offer such courses are:
- Loughborough University
- University of Leicester
- Portsmouth University
- Southampton University
- Cranfield University
- New Bucks University
- City University
- St. Andrews University
- Bristol University
Student membership costs just £50 per year, and in some cases the cost of joining is included in the fees payable to the University. The majority of membership benefits are available to students, apart from voting, the most significant benefit being access to our career Mentoring scheme.
At the end of the period of study, the Student Member is encouraged to apply for full membership of the Institute by re-submitting their application for revalidation in the normal manned (see Revalidation).
To apply for Student Membership complete the special Student Membership Application Form including details of your course and tutor.
