Yearbook and Directory of Qualifications
In December 2001 the Institute published the first edition of its Yearbook and Directory of Qualifications. It became an instant success, and each year the distribution of this FREE reference guide just grows and grows.
Security Institute members receive a copy automatically, and copies are also sent to senior HR professionals, recruitment companies, academic institutions, government departments, British Council offices around the world and other relevant bodies.
The contents of the Yearbook includes a listing of members and details of the Institute’s committees and structure.
Up until 2007 the largest section was given over to a complete listing of all security training and education available from Universities, Colleges and Training Organisations. This section included course content, duration, costs, and contact points, and was invaluable for anyone wanting to improve their knowledge and gain professional security qualifications.
From 2007 onwards, we have replaced this section of the yearbook with the "Professional Development" section of this website, in order to provide better information, and direct access to course content, providers and current costs etc.
