The Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Institute are also Validation Board members.
Validation Board members are appointed by the Main Board, from recommendations made to them by existing Board and VB members. There is no maximum number that may sit on the VB, however it is important that sufficient members are available from across a range of disciplines whenever a Validation Board meeting is held. This is at the discretion of the VB Chairman.
