Yearbook, Directory of Qualifications and Annual Report
In December 2001 the Institute published the first edition of its Yearbook and Directory of Qualifications. It became an instant success, and each year the distribution of this FREE reference guide grew and grew. However, with all things in print, it became difficult to keep the content current and relevant, whilst also justifying the costs of producing copy in print.
Up until 2007 the largest section was given over to a complete listing of all security training and education available from Universities, Colleges and Training Organisations. This section included course content, duration, costs, and contact points, and was invaluable for anyone wanting to improve their knowledge and gain professional security qualifications.
From 2007 onwards, we have replaced this section of the yearbook with the "Professional Development" section of this website, in order to provide better information, and direct access to course content, providers and current costs etc.
In 2008 we stopped producing the Yearbook, deciding instead to condense the publication into an Annual Report. This provides an overview of Institute activity, and shows potential members, sponsors, partners and members of the business community who we are, and what we are achieving.
