Seminar Two: The Art of Crisis Management: Lessons Learned from the Past and Strategies for the Future
From terrorism, to the Olympics, to ash clouds, to riots, London is all too familiar with events that can pose serious security threats to the public and businesses. After civil riots nearly shut down London last summer, Send Word Now is taking a look back at the lessons that business continuity planners can take away from the crisis and other similar events. Even for those that were prepared, the week was difficult, reminding us that there is always room for improvement. What lessons have we and our customers learned from past incidents and what key strategies should you keep in mind when preparing for future events? Join us to find out.
Presenter: Ann Lowe
Regional Sales Manager - Send Word Now
Seminar Three: Access Control, Who are you really?
This talk gives a bit of background as to the issues with access control systems and why they are not always very effective. It gives a business view of user registration and the limits of access control systems that use static credentials. Overall it provides insight into the key (and often overlooked) risks around managing access control.
