The Function

This is a great opportunity to attend the Ball, spend the night, or experience a first-class weekend break in the luxurious surroundings of the Portal Hotel.
For those members and guests who wish to arrive on Friday 29th October, an informal dinner will be arranged (1930 for 2000).
The Ball will be held on Saturday 30th October (1845 for 1930) in the Castle Suite. Dinner, including wine and entertainment is just £65.00 per head. Tables of 10 may be booked at £650.00. Please complete the booking form and return with your remittance to Karen Newman (contact details below).
Dress Code
The dress code for this event is black tie.
Accommodation
Rooms at the hotel are £90.00 per double room (£80.00 single occupation) including breakfast. Please book directly with the hotel, mentioning the Security Institute function - 01829-734145. NB: Early booking is essential as the hotel will only hold rooms for us up to six weeks in advance of the event.
Golf (Championship course)
Discounted from £80.00 per round to £30.00 for Ball attendees. Please indicate on the booking form if you are interested in playing.
Sponsorship
We have opportunities for organisations and individuals to sponsor the event, from £3000 to £100. We also accept donations of items for the auction and the raffle. Sponsors will be given extensive coverage in the pre- and post-event publicity and on the evening.

Charity support
50% of the profit from the event will be donated to the Oncology Department of Clatterbridge Hospital, Bebington - a very worthwhile cause.
